Intellectual Property Attorney

Beatrice is a qualified Intellectual Property Attorney. She advises on Intellectual Property audits and all the aspects of protecting patents, trademarks, designs, domain names, geographical indications, data, and copyrights in Cameroon and Central Africa.

She handles the protection, management, and enforcement of rights relating to Intellectual Property. She also advises on unfair competition and counterfeiting.

She holds a master’s degree in business law and a master’s degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from the University of Yaounde II. She also qualified as a licensed Intellectual Property Agent at the African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI).

Beatrice gained extensive experience as a Legal Assistant at the African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI). She also consecutively held the position of Intellectual Property Attorney in two leading Intellectual Property firms in Cameroon.

She is skilled in managing portfolios of OAPI clients. She is keen to help clients make the best use of their IP portfolio.

Beatrice is fluent in French and English.
